I skipped work today, just like I skipped work yesterday. How long has it been already? Just almost 3 months. Only 3 months, but I already feel the need to go and find another job. I don’t know if I’m making the right decision but I pray fro God’s will and guidance. I am at the rooftop right now, waiting for the rain to fall. Its a gloomy afternoon, but I feel refreshed and happy. I feel like love is just around the corner. :) Well I really hope so. I have so many things I want to say, but I always end up not writing them, always leaving spaces in between short paragraphs. There are so many stories I haven’t wrote. And I wonder if I’ll ever write it. There, the rain is almost ready to fall, I hear thunder and I see lightning, soon the rain will come.
Love for Christ overflows into love for one’s neighbor, love for truth, love for holiness, for the world, for purity, for everything divine, for everything deathless and eternal… All these forms of love are natural manifestations of love for Christ. Christ is the God-man, and love for Him…

“Over there”, he said, “you also have heterodox and other religions. You must behave to everyone with subtlety, with love. Do not offend anyone. You must perceive and address all of them as brethren - even those who belong to other religions. We are all children of the same Father. Do not comment on the beliefs of those who belong to other religions.”
— Elder Porphyrios Kafsokalyvitis
People are often unreasonable,
illogical and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind,
people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful,
you will win some false friends and true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank,
people may cheat you;
Be honest anyway.
What you spend years building,
someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
Pray persistently about everything, and then you will never do anything without God’s help.
- Saint Kosmas Aitolos
Real knowledge is patiently to accept affliction and not to blame others for our own misfortunes.
- Saint Kosmas Aitolos
The causes of anger are giving and taking, wanting to do one’s own will, taking delight in teaching and showing off to other people, and thinking oneself to be intelligent and wise. If one cuts off these causes, the passion of anger is weakened.
- Abbot Sergius from the Jordan Plain, Evergetinos
